The BJD Retreat

The first (and hopefully not the only) SOUTH EAST BJD Retreat was held at the WestGate Villas, Kissimmee, FL in the fall of 2016.  When the Atlanta BJD Convention was cancelled, a group of friends decided that they still wanted to get together.... and the retreat became a reality.  The word went out and others expressed interest in coming. Amazingly what started as 4 people wanting to share their love for dolls grew into a group of over 30.  So, how to entertain these people? Ask for volunteers to share knowledge! And suddenly there was a full roster of classes and get togethers.  All of this happened in the short time span of only 2 months.  Surveys indicated that everyone had fun and looked forward to doing it again!

So what did we do?  We created, we shared, we learned, we raffled, we had tea, we room shopped, we made new friends and visited with old friends, we watched movies and we talked dolls and just chatted!
